WEIGHTMAN & BULLEN was founded in 1912, and has continued to build a
firm reputation as a leading practice in the North-West, opening its London
Office in 1979 and becoming a Limited Company in 1988.

The firm currently consists of four Directors, and twenty six staff in Liverpool and
London.

The Practice offers clients a full range of architectural and planning consultancy
services operating in both the Public and Private Sectors. The Directors between
them have over the years gained considerable experience in dealing with both
National and Government bodies, particularly in the Medical and Educational
Sectors.

Weightman and Bullen's approach is to interpret our clients requirements through
the considerable skills and experience of the Directors and professionally
qualified staff, given personal attention of a Director on each project
throughout its design and construction period, and ensure that the scheme is
completed on time, within cost and to the satisfaction of the Users.

We have won many awards including Civic Trust Awards for Midland Bank,
Liverpool; St Mary's Primary School, Isle of Man; Christ College, Liverpool; St
David's Church, Towyn and Abu Dhabi Conference Centre.

The Practice has full C.A.D. facilities with Autocad 12 being used on schemes.

The Practice is is currently working towards certification under BS 5750 as a quality
assured company.

The Practice has Qualified Planning Supervisors both at Director level and on the
staff to ensure understanding and compliance with the CDM Regulations with
regard to the designers role and passing information on to the appointed
planning supervisor.
